Ideal Standard San Remo WC

With SanReMo “powerflush” WC, Ideal Standard have set new standards in flush technology. The innovative toilet bowl, which the company has developed in co-operation with Geberit, follows the trend towards greater flushing efficiency with the least possible amount of water. It is thus the perfect solution for public and semi-public places such as airports, schools, hospitals and restaurants. The SanReMo powerflush is an extension of the successful San ReMo range of bathroom equipment, which has already sold convincingly for many years, offering as it does such outstanding value for money. The SanReMo “powerflush” combines elegant design with revolutionary technology. When the mechanism is activated it releases a short powerful flush. In contrast to conventional systems, a pressure tank feeds two water inlets. This results in the usual rinsing of the ceramic basin above the water line, but at the same time water is forced by a power jet directly into the waste trap at high pressure. Thanks to the unusually high efficiency of the flush, even large amounts of paper or cigarette butts are easily flushed away. The danger of a blockage is therefore considerably reduced and subsequent users always find the WC bowl in a clean and well-rinsed state. That is not only hygienic but also reduces effort and cost. Since fewer flushes are required, the SanReMo “powerflush” saves on water and cleaning costs. The cistern of the SanReMo “powerflush” is pre-set at the factory to 6 litres but can, however, be easily reduced to 4.5 litres without adverse effects.
